The Big-D Idaho Falls office began, in earnest, in 2013 when a project construction team with ties to Eastern Idaho was relocated to Rexburg, Idaho to manage the construction of the Central Energy Facility project at BYU-Idaho. Company leadership then discovered there were other employees from Eastern Idaho eager to pursue more work locally. In turn, Big-D encouraged their eagerness and desire to establish a presence throughout Eastern Idaho. That presence continued to grow until Big-D officially opened a regional office in Idaho Falls in 2018.
Big-D Idaho Falls is proud to offers clients the ability to work directly with a local contractor who can devote a higher level of attention to projects, typical of a smaller contractor, but who is also backed by the significant resources of a much larger firm. With Big-D Idaho Falls you receive the best of both worlds – the dedication of an earnest small contractor and the resources, professionalism, and experience of a much larger organization.
While the roots of Big-D Construction are ever-expanding, our Idaho Falls office takes a community-centered approach to our work. The Big-D Lindon office opened in 2005 with the focus to increase Big-D’s presence in Utah County. The Lindon office constructs a wide range of project types annually, with key market sectors being commercial buildings, higher education facilities, multi-family housing, industrial, and mining projects. Big-D Lindon is a fully self-sufficient office, able to offer comprehensive Preconstruction and Construction services, and is staffed with a Preconstruction Director, a team of estimators, and a variety of market-specific construction team members.
Building and maintaining local client relationships has always been the driving factor for the Lindon office but being local for their employees who appreciate working on projects close to home and minimizing long commutes is equally as important. Just as Big-D Construction seeks to be the most sought-after construction company in the business, the Lindon office has a similar goal of being the number one construction company in Utah County.

Big-D Construction was founded in 1967 in Ogden. It was our original home, first headquarters, and where it all started. The Ogden office is where our company culture and core values were forged and where Big Dee and his founding leaders built a company based on equal respect for customers and employees. The Tucson Arizona Temple was constructed on a 7-acre site in the Catalina Foothills. The two-story, 39,000-sf temple features a Mission-style design similar to the temple in Tijuana, Mexico. The temple features a cupola with a peak of about 27 feet above the base and platform. The dome-shaped cupola resembles the famous dome that crowns the Florence Cathedral in Italy. Big-D utilized BIM technology to create 3D models of the temple prior to construction. The Tucson Arizona Temple was the sixth temple constructed in Arizona.

The National Ability Center works to empower individuals of all abilities by building lifetime skills through sport, recreation, and educational programs. Headquartered in Park City, Utah, the organization provides adaptive lessons, equipment, camps and more for individuals and families. The facility also provides training for Paralympic athletes from around the world.
In 2018, the National Ability Center announced plans to expand its facility. Big-D Signature is currently working on two large projects as part of the expansion. Signature will expand the organization’s equestrian building. The two-story expansion will also feature new entrances, a viewing and lounge space, meeting rooms, a physical therapy clinic and office space for employees and volunteers.
