The Big-D Idaho Falls office began, in earnest, in 2013 when a project construction team with ties to Eastern Idaho was relocated to Rexburg, Idaho to manage the construction of the Central Energy Facility project at BYU-Idaho. Company leadership then discovered there were other employees from Eastern Idaho eager to pursue more work locally. In turn, Big-D encouraged their eagerness and desire to establish a presence throughout Eastern Idaho. That presence continued to grow until Big-D officially opened a regional office in Idaho Falls in 2018.
Big-D Idaho Falls is proud to offers clients the ability to work directly with a local contractor who can devote a higher level of attention to projects, typical of a smaller contractor, but who is also backed by the significant resources of a much larger firm. With Big-D Idaho Falls you receive the best of both worlds – the dedication of an earnest small contractor and the resources, professionalism, and experience of a much larger organization.
While the roots of Big-D Construction are ever-expanding, our Idaho Falls office takes a community-centered approach to our work. The Big-D Lindon office opened in 2005 with the focus to increase Big-D’s presence in Utah County. The Lindon office constructs a wide range of project types annually, with key market sectors being commercial buildings, higher education facilities, multi-family housing, industrial, and mining projects. Big-D Lindon is a fully self-sufficient office, able to offer comprehensive Preconstruction and Construction services, and is staffed with a Preconstruction Director, a team of estimators, and a variety of market-specific construction team members.
Building and maintaining local client relationships has always been the driving factor for the Lindon office but being local for their employees who appreciate working on projects close to home and minimizing long commutes is equally as important. Just as Big-D Construction seeks to be the most sought-after construction company in the business, the Lindon office has a similar goal of being the number one construction company in Utah County.

Big-D Construction was founded in 1967 in Ogden. It was our original home, first headquarters, and where it all started. The Ogden office is where our company culture and core values were forged and where Big Dee and his founding leaders built a company based on equal respect for customers and employees. Nearly 95% of Big-D Ogden’s projects are from longstanding repeat clients and their footprint continues to grow for their Food &amp; Beverage unit across the U.S.

The Pinal County Complex, designed to house both the Western Pinal Justice Court and Maricopa Municipal Court, consists of two new single-story buildings, 8,314-sf and 24,046-sf respectively. The larger of the two wraps around the existing courts building with various structural additions and renovations, and will accommodate added courtrooms, judge’s chambers and facilities for the Pinal County Sheriff including holding cells, interview rooms, office space and K9 kennels. The smaller facility houses general offices for Pinal County employees, including the county treasurer and assessor. Scope involved site demolition of an existing parking lot, hardscape and landscape, civil, structural steel, beams and columns, selective demo, concrete, masonry, steel stud framing, FA, TPO roofing, curtain wall systems, aluminum storefront systems, mechanical yard, and steel canopies.

Located in historic downtown Prescott, The Yavapai County Parking Deck is a two-story, enclosed and on-deck, 52,844-sf parking garage for the Yavapai County Administration and Law Enforcement Center. The parking deck has 147 parking spaces – 70 on deck and 77 existing below &#8211; including 16 sally port spaces and a secured entrance for transporting inmates. The upper level features a durable, long-lasting traffic coating to give an added layer of structural protection and surface longevity. Construction was completed while retaining an active sally port for the Yavapai County Sherriff’s office. The new parking deck provides ample space and improved traffic flow for those working and visiting the criminal justice center. Big-D Southwest teamed with Otwell Associates for this project. This architectural firm is the oldest in Prescott.
